SPECIAL STATION FOR FOAM FILMS
Special system for corona treatment of special, closed-pore but uneven foam films. At the forefront of the process engineering development is the complete avoidance of breakdowns in case of very even surface treatment with high corona dose. Despite the large corona gaps an ozone leakage on the electrode housing had to be securely prevented. All these requirements were implemented successfully by SCANA CORONA. Due to the very good functionality the system is used at number of locations worldwide for pretreatment of specific films.
SYSTEM FOR CONVERSION TO INERT GAS PLASMA
Special system construction prepared for the conversion to inert gas plasma operation. The station design and the corona rolls are designed such that the station can be retrofitted into an inert gas plasma system with less cost. For this, the upper half of the frame is housed and provided with locks towards the roll. The electrode system is replaced with a forced refrigerated plasma system. The powerful generator is further used unchanged.
VERSION FOR A SPECIAL INSTALLATION SITUATION
The version of the SCS-R 250 series with web width of 2800mm and special design, adapted to the special installation situation in the production line. The station is used as traction section, the design is therefore particularly solid. A powered corona roll as well as a solid powered deflection roll are installed in the station thanks to which the web runs through S-shaped. In addition, the rolls have operator side chain wheels for a guided web insert.
