ABOUT OUR TECHNICAL CENTRE
In our technical centre we carry out experiments for new market and custom-specific requirements and the realisation of SCANA CORONA in-house developments. Customers can sample film rolls for test purposes and have small quantities treated.
With a simulator for format specific corona doses can be defined with regards the desired surface tension. These investigations are essential for the optimal design of a SCANA CORONA station in terms of electrode type, dielectric material, generator, high-voltage transformer and extraction.
Our facilities allow us to treat and test roll materials of up to web width 1000 mm and roll diameter 1.2 m as well as formats of up to a size of 350x400 mm with web speed of up to 500m/min.You can use all standard plastic films, metal and metallized films, paper, foam films or non-woven webs.
The objective is always the desired surface functionalization of your materials in order to achieve the required adhesion property for your manufacturing or treatment process.
