We would like to inform you that on January 2, 2026, we filed for insolvency at the Itzehoe Local Court. The petition for insolvency proceedings became necessary due to very high energy costs and the difficult economic conditions in the mechanical engineering sector. We are now focusing on restructuring the company. The Itzehoe Local Court has appointed attorney Dr. Penzlin as provisional insolvency administrator as detailed in the attached decision.
We are continuing the business operations of FGM Fritz Gradert Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG (“FGM”) in the provisional insolvency proceedings. For this purpose the management is working closely with Dr. Penzlin and his team.
The prefinancing of wages and salaries via insolvency payments has already been arranged for all FGM employees. The employees has signaled their full support for the company even in this challenging situation. The entire FGM team remains available to you as usual.
Filing for insolvency was a very difficult decision for us. However we would like to look forward together with you. We are working intensively with the team of the provisional insolvency administrator to preserve the company, our customer and supplier relationships and of course the jobs.
